Campus Tour
Meet our academic community while exploring the Basic Science campus on Grand Cayman.
St. Matthew’s University Sojourn Program
To support the application decisions of future students, we offer regular tours of our Basic Science campus, which allow visitors to get a feel for the learning environment, campus community and everything St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine (SMUSOM) has to offer.
Excitingly, we can also make special arrangements for you to sit in on a lecture, so you gain a firsthand experience in a medical school classroom.
Tours are available Monday through Friday during business hours and last for approximately one hour. You should pre-schedule your visit before your arrival by contacting the Admissions Department (admissions@stmatthews.edu).
Reimbursement for Students Who Visit and Enroll*
If you visit campus and matriculate into our MD program within the next three semesters, St. Matthew’s University will provide a travel reimbursement of up to $2,000 USD for your airfare and lodging. Please note, only three nights of lodging will be covered.
Students are responsible for covering their initial costs in advance of a potential reimbursement. In terms of choosing flights, you can book any one of the more than 100 weekly international flights to Grand Cayman to experience the tour and explore the island.

*Receipts will be necessary for reimbursement, and must be submitted within 30 days of matriculation. Only three nights of lodging can be reimbursed.
