Dr. Inna Shypilova has extensive experience working as an educator and researcher. Her background includes many years as a university professor and researcher in the field of Medical Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of stem cells. Dr. Shypilova has 16 years of experience teaching Medical Biochemistry and Genetics.
In addition to being an Associate Professor of Medical Biochemistry, Dr. Shypilova has received recognition as a national and international author, and has presented at numerous medical conferences.
Dr. Shypilova’s research interests and presentations include metabolic adaptations of tissues to ischemia, the antioxidant system, the biology of stem cells etc. In addition, Dr. Shypilova has been a member of American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology since 2015.
Dr. Shypilova won the Ukrainian Government Scholarship competition for natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in May 2008.
She participated in the Ukrainian Ministry of Health research project, “The mechanisms of apoptosis in cells and tissue repair processes” in 2003 to 2009, and in the Ministry of Education and Science’s research program, “Biochemical mechanisms of regulation of the activity of cells of different levels of differentiation” in the years of 2013-2015.
Dr. Shypilova has conducted & attended many training and workshops. She also has supervised many research projects.
St. Matthew's curriculum was designed by U.S.-based faculty and parallels training at top U.S. medical schools. It involves ten semesters of concentrated academic and clinical study split between Basic Sciences and Clinical Sciences.
