“I would advise incoming and current students to take advantage of the small size classes that SMU offers. We have very knowledgeable professors who go out of their way to teach everything you need. I would also encourage reading and studying every day. In the medical profession, that will be something you will continue to do for the entirety of the career. Finally, find a field that you love and feel passionate about. It'll make your goals and sacrifice so much more worth it.”
